Do you have a knitting project you’ve made a mistake on and can’t figure out how to move forward, bought a pattern you don’t fully understand, or have a brilliant idea for your own pattern but need help planning it out?
Are you brand new to knitting and interested in coming together to learn and socialize?
We welcome all of the above at our Friday Night Knitting Circle! Come with all your conundrums and partially finished pieces. This space is really designed to adapt to the needs of those who show up. So you can really make it your own.
There will be a few knitting books on hand for reference, and some materials for testing out new stitches. Kids are welcome, if there are enough of them, we’ll give them their own circle in a connected room.
The workshop is lead by Heather Marie Scholl, who has an MFA in Fashion and Knitwear Design. She has worked as a sample maker for the last 5+ years in NYC and specializes in hand knits and embroidery. She loves lace, colorwork, cables, and surprising and simple finishes.
